Lake Garda does not deliver (YET)

Today was supposed to be the first day of the 6th and last Act of the EFG MothEuroCup. Unfortunately, the wind did not want to play. There are a bunch of rainstorms scheduled to roll through tonight and we hope that it allows for more wind tomorrow. The Acquafresca Sailing Club is hosting a dinner tonight for all the sailors and we expect that Lake Garda will treat us to some more wind tomorrow, first start will be at 8:00am.

Sailor Profile:
Adriano Petrino is one of the few competitors that have attended each of the EFG MothEuroCup Acts. Adriano is a spirited, motivated, and kind person that truly loves this sport. Petrino comes from Lugano, the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. He began sailing Optimists at a young age, traveling around Europe and competing in international regattas. After completing his time in the Swiss mandatory military service as a paramedic he studied to become a nurse. As of right now sailing is his top priority and with the help of his sponsors (Winteler & Co,SA, Banana.ch SA, Amifiduciaria Lugano, Arena Sportiva, to name a few) Adriano is able to travel around all of Europe again to sail his moth, all while living out of his van. We wish him good luck for Act 6!
